There are earth quakes, forest fires, hurricanes and tornadoes. There are new diseases that are coming out and old diseases still plaguing us. People have been born with disorders that have only recently been classified and babies born with deformities. There is crime, there is gang violence, there is organized crime. There is porn, prostitution, there are homosexuals, people pleasure them selfs and teenagers having sex.
Non of this is new. They have existed for centuries, some even predate civilization. But some people don't seem to realize this. In this era of 24 hour cable news, 500 television channels and the internet, we have access to an almost unlimited amount of information, we have access to information that in the past and recent past most would never know about, on top of that, science is rolling forward, discovering new things.
In the access to all this information some people don't seem to realize what they are just hearing about has been around longer than they have. There are people who talk about teenagers having sex as if its a recent phenomenon not realizing that teenagers have been having sex for thousands of years, hell people use to get married at 13, 14, 15 years old and younger. There are people who hear about violence and seem to think that it is something new; in comparison to the violence of the past we live in a time of peace. People use to take their children to executions, vidulanties and gangs use to rull the towns and cities. People look at diseases and disorders and think that these are something new; diseases where allot more common in the past and the disorders have been around snce before humanity even evolved, we are just now classifying them.
Before you go around ranting and raving abut some "new" probloms maybe you should actualy do some reaserch and find out how "new" it actualy is.
