There has been allot of controversy over sex abuse in the catholic church. Priests that rape children have been allowed to get away with their crimes and the churches only actions where to move them to another perish where they had more potential victims to rape.
It has been reveal that Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who is now Pope Benedict XVI moved a priest who raped over 200 boys to another parish with out even putting him through the churches judicial system. He nor his subordinates alerted the authorities or any one and they moved the fucker to a place where he worked with children! Where he had access to more victims! This is the fucking pope, the so-called leader of the catholic church. He was in on this conspiracy to hide the crimes of a child rapist! He was even warned that this could harm the church and he still did it. And to make matters worse; they did not give a shit about the victims, they only cared about how this would make the church look.
If there hasn't been enough evidence that the church is an immoral power structure who's goal is its own power, there is now. The catholic church doesn't give a shit about catholics, it doesn't give a shit about right or wrong, it only cares about it self.

To any catholic priest who might read this: I know the majority of priests are good people but the people above you are not doing the right things as a result it is up to you. When you find out that a priest is a child molester report him to the real authorities: the police. If the people above you complain just give them the finger and tell them; "I'm just doing what you should have been doing all along!"
