Some Good News on the Anti-Vaccine Front

Anti-vaccine autism campaigners lose court battle

Several large-scale studies have failed to find a link between vaccines and autism. But that didn't stop parents from 5000 families who believe there is a link from seeking compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, created to help the small number of children who have severe allergic reactions to vaccines.

On 12 March, the judges overseeing the scheme declared there was no proof that the children's autism was caused by thimerosal (thiomersal outside the US), a mercury-containing preservative used in some vaccines. The same court had already thrown out claims that thimerosal plus the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine causes autism. "The ruling supported the science," says Paul Offit of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. The families can appeal the decision, but it is unlikely to be reversed.

It has been a bad year for anti-vaccination and now it gets worse and thats a good thing.
Vaccines do not cause autism and it this point claiming such a thing should be considers a sign of stupidity. The money in Vaccine Injury Compensation Program should not go to anti-vaccinationists who, that money needs to go to people who have real (as in in reality not not the anti-vaccinationists fantasy world) bad reactions to vaccines.

Yet, I doubt that the parents will change their mind. If they do ever look and accept scientific studies, they would’ve stop opposing vaccinations long ago, or better yet, never get involved in it. I’m not saying that we should accept all scientific studies without question, but with so many large scale reports by reputable organizations, there should be at least some truth to it.

I know. But there are those who are on the fence or are just ignorant and get sucked in and stuff like this pulls them away. But yes, there are those who it would take an epidemic to change there mind and even that might not change their minds.

I was just informed that you could die from the Flu shot. There is this rare disease that causes GBS. Once you have the Onset of GBS it’s usually three weeks after the Flu shot when you become the weakest. And your respiratory and Heart muscles become so weak from the nerve damage that in rare cases you Die.

      1. Could you use an actual legitimate scientific and or medical source?
      2. Vaccines are not perfect, there are reactions occasional, that’s why certain people can’t be vaccinated and need herd immunity to protect them from communicable diseases.
