This is another one along the lines of "evolution is a religion".
This argument is an attempt to discredit evolution by not only saying it is equal to religion but also saying there is no evidence for it (faith is a belief in something with out or despite evidence). Evolution is not a religion nor is it equal to a religion. The theory of evolution has an abundance of evidence supporting it and the fact of evolution is a scientific fact (confirmed observation).
Some will take the argument further and say that science requires faith. Science is a proses that uses the scientific method to gain a greater understanding of the world. Science is evidence based, scientific hypotheses and theories either stand or fall based on evidence, belief (supported or not) does not play into it.
