People who are against evolution like to use the words "evolutionism" or "darwinism" to describe evolution and call people who accept evolution "evolutionists" or "darwinists".
This is similar to calling evolution a religion. It's a method of trying to discredit evolution or bring evolution down to a the level of philosophy, belief or religion. Evolution is not a philosophy, belief or a religion, it is an observed phenomenon and a scientific theory with a mountain of evidence behind it. This adding of an "ism" doesn't deal with the evidence as a result doesn't impact the validity of evolution in any way shape or form.
