Who am I? Where am I going? What is the meaning of life? What is the purpose of life?

Well of course it doesn't! Evolution is change in populations over multiple generations. The theory of evolution (mutation and natural selection) explains the fact of evolution (observed changes in populations over multiple generations). Thats it!
