It’s time for a good old fashioned rant: Utopianist Idiots

A utopia is a perfect (or close too it) society free from the problems that plague real societies. You can find utopianists throughout the spectrum’s but mostly on the edges. Authoritarians are utopianits as well are anarchists, there are atheistic utopianists who thing if we get rid of religion the world will be at peace and there are theocratic utopianists who believe if everyone and every government followed their religion the world would be a peace and there are free market utopianists who believe everything should be left up to the free market and socialist utopianists who believe the government should control the economy.
They are all fucking idiots. Every system has its advantages and disadvantages. Yes there are good parts to authoritarian systems but there are also bad parts, the same goes for an anarchistic system, a socialistic system and a capitalistic system. There is no silver bullet, they all have problems that fuck them up! But what if we combine systems? Mix some socialism with some capitalism, some authoritarianism with some anarchism and make the perfect system? While that would make a better system, there is never going to be a perfect system! What works in one situation may not work in another and it is very difficult to near impossible to tell what will work in any given situation before hand. The best we can do is look to the past and see what worked in smiler situations but even then it may not work in the currant one and hindsight isn’t enough to tell you what would have worked best as you will always be dealing with a limited about of information. Even if you find the best system for a given situation it will be far from perfect, there will always be problems.
There will always be haves and have nots, there will always be crime, there will always be corruption, there will always be unhappiness, there will always be fights, there will always be wars. No system, no combination of systems can solve all our problems, we can only hope to minimize them.
