There are two main rhetorics in the abortion debate: the phrases "pro-choice" and "pro-life". Sometimes these rhetorics are turned around, people calling the other side "anti-choice" or "anti-life" and some people against legalized abortion turn their rhetoric into a full blown straw man and say those for legalized abortion are "pro-abortion".
These are all rhetoric and like all rhetoric they only serve to muddy the waters and lock people into stances they might not otherwise have.
No one is "pro-life", no one is "pro-choice", no one is "anti-life", no one is "anti-choice" and no one is "pro -abortion"! No one!
You are ether pro-legalized abortion or anti-legalized abortion. Thats it! Thats the two sides!
Abortion is a big issue and is more complex than allot of people like to make it. Rhetoric doesn't help the issue, rhetoric only harms.
