It has been one month to the day sense the Haitian earthquake. The death toll is estimated to be 217,000, an estimated 1.2 million are homeless and an estimated 460,000 displaced. Currently only 1.1 million are receiving aid.
But those are just numbers, numbers can not convey the true horror of what has happened down there. Not even the images I posted below can convey the horror that is going on down there. Only those who have gone through it or something like it can understand it, can know the true horror of the events in Haiti.

It has only been a month sense the earthquake yet it feels like it was a long time ago. The people down there are still suffering, they still need help and they will need help for a long time to come.
