Evolution can't explain homosexuality

Homosexuality has been observed in many animals^[1] so it is not just a human thing and there must be some evolutionary pressure for it to evolve in at least part of a population. But it does seem counter intuitive until you remember that homosexuals can still have sex with the opposite sex, it is a false dichotomy to think that they have to be attracted to one sex or the other, you can be attracted to both. But the question of "why would sexual attraction to the same gender evolve?" still remains.
Well we are not sure but there are several possibilities. It could increase the chances of producing surviving offspring, for instance female same sex partners could help raise each others offspring^[2].
Or it it could be a social thing; Bonobos are a hominidae (great apes) closely related to chimpanzees. They are natures perverts, not only are all of them bisexual they use sex for anything from a greeting to a thank you^[3]. So its conceivable that homosexuality may have developed out of social conditions.

Evolution can not explain morality.

Evolution can not explain altruism.

Imagine two species of animals, the two species are both social species, they are in competition for the same food supply. Species A is altruistic (they assist each other, defend each other and risk their lives for each other), species B is not. Which species does better?
Altruism not only exists in humans but it exists in animals as well^[4]. Hell ants and bees have taken altruism to its extreme. In social animals altruism has clear evolutionary advantages, it benefits the populations and species as a whole.

Evolution can not explain language.

Wouldn't the ability to communicate information and express ideas be an evolutionary advantage?

Evolution can not explain art and music.

Did our hands evolve to play a piano? Of course not but we use our hands to play pianos. Some traits evolved for one purpose but can be used for another.
Creativity and that ability to use objects, sounds and vocalizations to express ideas and information didn't evolve for art and music but those traits led to art and music.

Evolution can not explain religion
Of course not. But it does explain the traits that led to religion.
Humans have a tendency to see agency where there is none; if something happens we have a tendency to assume some intelligence was behind it. If our ancestors heard a rustling in a bush and they assumed it was the wind and were wrong (it was a lion) they died but if they assumed it was an animal they would be prepared to fight or run and survive. Those who assumed it was an animal had a greater chance of survival, this is why we have a tendency to see agency where there is none and is the tendency to see agency where there is none that lead to primitive religion.
There were many things people thousands of years ago had no explanation for. Because people have a tendency to see agency where there is none, they imposed supernatural agents on these mysteries.
How we got from primitive religions to modern religions, thats a sociological question not an evolution question.
