There are 2 stupid arguments when it comes to information.

1. Mutations can not increase information.
This is completely false. We know how information can be added to DNA: gene duplication and mutation.

2. The genetic code contains information. This information could not assemble it self.
First of all information isn't a thing, it's a concept and DNA fits in to the concept.
DNA didn't just assemble it self. It most likely started with RNA (RNA: ribonucleic acid, DNA: deoxyribonucleic acid) it was the environment and the chemicals in the environment that produced the chemical reactions that produced the first RNA.
