I didn't know what I was going to post for 9/11 anaversery. But noe I think has the right idea.
7 years ago today, in the name of there religion and there god 19 hijackers flew 3 plains into the Twin Towers and the pentagon and Flight 93 went down thanks to the heroics of its passengers saving many lives at the third target.
Only through religion can such an action be justified.
And what have we learned? Nothing. The politicians of this country pander to the religious. .
Every one knows the saying "Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" well I;d like to add to that. Those who do not understand history is doomed to repeat it and make it worce.

I would like to agree with you… about this one thing.. religion is not good…
history is already repeating itself.. like in the days of old, when God destroyed the city of Sodom and Gomorrah.. have we forgotten why He destroyed that place?? We obviously have, look at California, history repeating itself..Wickedness, and immorality is everywhere, and if our country does not seek Gods mercy and repent from our sin.. God righteous judgment will come.. and we do not want judgment. Mercy is what we need… so kinda off topic, but I felt I should add a like spice to this topic.. 9/11 was a horrible thing, and need not to forget the many lives that were taken, and we need to honor all Firefighter, officers, all officials that were involved in saving the lives of many, honor those who gave their life to save one last life..

I’m saying religion can lead to violence and in the case of 9/11 it did.
You say you agree with me yet you clearly have a religion of your own, a religion with grate potential for violence. A religion with a violent god who has has no problems with killing innocent people for things he finds wrong many of which do no harm to others or society. When you have a god that does not value human life and is willing to kill countless and a holy book where he orders people to kill and even commit genocide, the people of that religion are not that far off from killing people, all it take us them believing Go wants them to kill and then many of them will kill.

i have no religion of my own… I have relationship with Jesus… Don’t get my beliefs mixed up with religion.
